I am a native Georgian and grew up in the metro Atlanta area, attending schools in Cobb, Gwinnett and Hall counties.Β  I was raised in a family with six kids and I have a twin brother.Β  I attended college in Georgia and Tennessee for my undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Education.Β  Returning home, I continued my education at Georgia State University and received Masters degrees in professional counseling and school counseling, while at the same time teaching 5thgrade in Cobb County. After completing my graduate work, I had the opportunity to join Fulton County Schools and spent the next ten years serving at Taylor Road Middle School, where I was a counselor for five years and an assistant principal for five years.Β  For the last three years, I have served as the principal of Creek View Elementary School in Alpharetta.

He also stated what he believes it takes to help students achieve success:

I believe that one of the most significant factors that contributes to student success is the relationship that is built between student and teacher and between the school and the home.Β  Those relationships are built on trust and strengthened by consistent support, encouragement and open communication. Working together, we will achieve our goal of inspiring kids to love learning and motivating them on the path to become lifelong learners.
