Mall of Georgia Reels out Lineup for Fifth Annual ‘Movies Under the Stars’ Series

Mall of Georgia invites local friends and families to meet on the lawn at the Village Amphitheatre for another summer of fabulous free entertainment! Beginning Saturday, May 25, the mall will debut this year’s cinema and concert showcase for the fifth annual Movies Under the Stars series. Shoppers are encouraged to grab a blanket, spread out on the lawn and enjoy family favorite flicks such as The Odd Life of Timothy Green and Oscar-nominated Brave on an impressive 42-foot screen.

Presented by Team Toyota Mall of Georgia in association with Gwinnett Daily Post, the Movies Under The Stars series will take place every Saturday evening through the end of July. To kick off the night, the sizzling summer fun will begin at 5 p.m. with activities like a game of cornhole, jump time in the bounce house and samples from a variety of summer snack favorites such as Sweet Monkey Frozen Yogurt, popcorn and cotton candy. Local bands will take the stage at The Village Pavilion beginning at 6:30 p.m. and the feature film will play on the screen once the sun sets. Come early, claim a spot and enjoy the show!

• June 29: Here Comes the Boom
• July 4:  Mall of Georgia’s 11th Annual Fabulous Fourth Lights Up Gwinnett - Kids Zone opens for family fun at 2 p.m. and Gwinnett's grandest fireworks display begins at dusk. Playing for Keeps: post-fireworks
• July 13: Hotel Transylvania
• July 20: The Croods
• July 27: Wreck It Ralph
