Buford Krispy Kreme Serving Up County Fair Inspired Doughnuts
Caramel apple cake and cotton candy doughnuts will be available through Sept. 30.
Doughnut lovers can head to the Buford Krispy Kreme to try out two new flavors -- caramel apple cake and cotton candy.
On Aug. 21, Krispy Kreme announced the new doughnut flavors and two new beverages inspired by county fair foods.
The new caramel apple cake doughnut and cotton candy doughnut will be available at participating stores through Sept. 30. Krispy Kreme will also offer the county fair-inspired frozen cotton candy chiller and caramel latte.

"County fairs are a fall tradition, and caramel apple and cotton candy are always popular fair fare," explained Ron Rupocinski, Krispy Kreme Corporate Chef in an Aug. 21 press release. "The caramel apple cake doughnut is rich and decadent, and the new cotton candy doughnut is a sweet and fluffy delight."
The cotton candy doughnut is an original Krispy Kreme doughnut dipped in blue cotton candy sugar. The caramel apple cake doughnut is a glazed, apple flavored cake doughnut topped with caramel icing.

The new cotton candy chiller beverage combines raspberry and blueberry flavors in an icy treat while the caramel latte espresso drink is served hot or cold and topped with whipped cream and a caramel drizzle.
The Buford Krispy Kreme is located at 3387 Buford Drive, near the Mall of Georgia.
