Company Said to Be Considering Buford Site for New Facility
Buford competing with Winston-Salem, N.C.
A nutrition supplement plant is reportedly considering Buford as a possible site for a new manufacturing facility.
According to a report in the Winston-Salem Journal, Buford and Winston-Salem, N.C. are two cities currently under consideration as home to a new Herbalife manufacturing facility. The proposed Buford site is located off I-985.
The $100.2 million project would create 493 local jobs over three years, the article stated.
