The National Weather Service in Peachtree City said strong to severe storms are expected Friday into Saturday morning.
The severe weather potential in Buford is considered low (see attached graphic), however.

The weather service said the storms should clear for a sunny Saturday and Sunday (and a beautiful Easter sunrise).
Here’s a detailed look at the Buford forecast, according to the weather service:
- Friday night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms before 2am, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm between 2am and 5am, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 5am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 51. Southwest wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%
- Saturday: A chance of showers before 8am. Mostly sunny, high near 64. Northwest wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation 30%
- Saturday night: Clear, low around 41.
- Sunday: Mostly sunny, high near 65.
- Sunday night: Mostly cloudy, low around 50. Chance of precipitation 60%.
- Monday: Showers likely, possibly a thunderstorm. High near 67. Chance of precipitation 60%.
