Come and discover what makes McDaniel Farm special. Learn how people have grown
things in the past as you tour or historic farm. Plant a mini-garden together
with your troop and learn how vermicompost, which can help you towards your
Golden Honey Bee Award. This program compliments the Girl Scout Daisy Watering
Can Award and Golden Honey Bee Award. Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes
for the program. You may choose to bring a sack lunch to enjoy on the farm
property at the end of the program.
Cost: $5 per person
We require two leaders with each troop at all times; leaders meeting this
requirement are admitted free. Additional siblings and adults are required to
pay the same fee as Scouts.
