Three vehicles were involved in the wreck near Buford.

A three-vehicle accident on I-85 South near Buford sent two people to the hospital Friday afternoon — one with non-life-threatening injuries and another with a medical emergency unrelated to the wreck.

Gwinnett Fire Capt. Tommy Rutledge said a fire engine travelling southbound on I-85 rolled up on the accident around 4:35 p.m. Friday not long after it happened. The accident occurred south of Buford Drive.

“There were three vehicles involved, with one pickup truck (work truck) that rolled over,” Rutledge said in a news release.
