Inside Police Reports: Man Says 'Stalker' Slashed Tire

A Buford man told police a man who has been “stalking” him since 2008 is the guy who slashed a tire at his residence on Elliott Street.

The man said it wasn’t the first he believes the suspect has caused damage on his property.

According to the Gwinnett County Police incident report, the Buford man told police on March 23 that the suspect since 2008, when he came across the suspect on Craigslist. But he said he had no idea why the suspect sought him out to cause him problems.

The man told police the suspect has damaged tires, equipment and pets on his property in the past, and that he has a restraining order against him.

He also told police the suspect’s company had previously sued the man for “complaining too much on Craigslist,” the incident report stated.
