Man Suspects Restaurant Employee Responsible for Unauthorized Debit Card Charges

Buford man learned of multiple attempts to use his debit card number after dining at a Mall of Georgia restaurant.

A Buford man believes a restaurant employee may be responsible for multiple attempts to fraudulently use his debit card information.

On March 8, the man dined at Ruby Tuesday's at the Mall of Georgia and used a Visa debit card to pay for his meal. The following day, he discovered 12 fraudulent attempts had been made to use his card including four $100 transactions and two $500 transactions.

The man told police he believes an employee of Ruby Tuesday's may be responsible for the attempts. The case is listed as active.
