Phones, Tablets Looted in Wireless Store Burglary

Police are investigating a recent burglary at a Buford wireless phone business, during which the perpetrators smashed through the front window.

According to Gwinnett County Police incident reports, the Verizon store on Cumming Highway was looted of 12 phones and three tablets in the March 16 burglary.

Total value of the items taken was more than $5,500.

Police answered an alarm around 3:45 a.m. and found the window smashed and several items missing.

Later, the manager provided a list of the stolen and damaged items and told police he had surveillance video of the suspect.
