Report: Inmate Killed at Phillips State Prison in Buford
The incident occurred Sunday night, the AJC reported.
An inmate at the Phillips State Prison in Buford was killed over the weekend, according to a report by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Antonio Turner, 27, was killed Sunday night, a prison spokesperson told the newspaper. Details of the death were not released.
According to prison records, Antonio Maurice Turner was serving a 10-year sentence for strong-arm robbery in Cherokee County in 2011.
