Two Vehicles Shot at on Gravel Springs Road Near I-85 Overpass
Windows smashed on both vehicles. No one was injured.
Two drivers fortunately escaped harm after an unknown person or persons shot at their vehicles.
On the evening of March 8, a Dacula man called police after one of the rear windows of his 2008 Infiniti QX56 suddenly shattered. The man said he was traveling eastbound on Gravel Springs Road just before the I-85 overpass when the incident occurred.
"[The man] said he was in a pack of cars driving and did not see or hear anything that could have caused the damage," the officer wrote in the incident report.

Though several cars slowed down, none of the vehicles stopped. The officer was unable to locate any foreign objects or projectiles in the vehicle.
Less than 30 minutes later, a Hoschton woman experienced a similar occurrence.

"[The woman] stated she was traveling east on Gravel Springs when she suddenly heard her window bust," the report stated. "Initially she thought something had come from the road and hit it. When she pulled over, she observed that it had been shot at."
According to the police report, it appeared as if the window of the woman's 2010 Honda CRV been shot out with a BB gun. The officer was unable to locate the BB in the vehicle.
Both cases are listed as active.
