(Watch): Verizon Bandit May Have Struck Again

In case you missed it: Gwinnett Police are looking for suspects who broke into a Verizon store in Buford in March and again in June.

A burglary suspect who smashed through a window to steal electronics from a Verizon store near Buford in March may have returned to the scene of the crime to strike again.

Gwinnett Police said an unknown male broke into the store located at 5965 Cumming Highway (near the intersection with Suwanee Dam Road) around 4 a.m. on June 11 in much the same manner as the suspect in a March 16 burglary at the same place. Both burglaries were captured on video, and took less than 90 seconds.

Police said it could be the same person.

In both burglaries, the suspect smashed through the front of the store with a large hammer, then pulled cell phones and tablets from displays before picking up the hammer and leaving. More than $4,500 in items were stolen in the June 11 crime; $5,500 was taken on March 16.

Police said the suspect may also be responsible for a similar burglary in January at a Verizon store on 3397 Buford Drive in Buford, where nearly $10,000 in items were stolen.

The suspect in this case is described as: Unknown race, height, and weight; Slim build; Seen wearing: black hoodie, grey pants, black gloves, white and black shoes.
