Weather Alert: New Thunderstorm Warning for Buford Area
In effect until 5:15 p.m.; damaging winds, hail are possible.

The National Weather Service in Peachtree City has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for northwestern Gwinnett County and southwestern Forsyth County until 5:15 p.m. Thursday.
The weather service said that a severe storm was nearly stationary in the Cumming area as of 4:41 p.m. Hazards include damaging winds up to 60 mph and quarter-sized hail.
Cumming and the Sugar Hill/Buford areas are in the warning area
