17 Cherokee Schools Will Open For Transfer, Reassignment Requests

The Cherokee County School District’s request period for student transfers and reassignments for the 2015-16 school year will open Feb. 1.

Seventeen schools will be open for reassignment, the Cherokee County School District said.

If parents are interested in one of the five opportunities for transfer or reassignment for next school year, they are asked to please review the information posted on the district’s Parent Information - Student Enrollment website.

The application window is open from Feb. 1 through March 1.

Requests for reassignment to one of the STEM or Fine Arts Academies will be handled in a separate process, which will get under way March 16.
