2 Charged With Burglary Of Canton Home
One male subject was seen moving items from the home to a wooded area, which he said would be taken to a nearby car.

CANTON, GA -- Deputies with the Cherokee Sheriff's Office were able to catch two alleged burglars in the act late Wednesday evening at a home off East Cherokee Drive.
Two deputies were dispatched to a call of a possible break-in around 11:47 p.m. June 21 to a home on Johnson Brady Road just east of Canton. They arrived at the home and begin canvassing the exterior of the structure.
They noticed a light, which appeared to be coming from a flashlight, beaming in the wooded area near the home. Deputies Testa and Owens followed the light in the woods and came in contact with 34-year-old Jose Penaflor of Canton "as he was attempting to move items removed from the residence into the woods," the sheriff's office said.
