Canton Celebrates 4th of July With Parade, Fireworks

The city's parade will be held at 6 p.m. and fireworks behind the Riverstone shopping center will start at dusk.

CANTON, GA -- A patriotic celebration will fill the streets of downtown Canton on Monday, as the city hosts its annual 4th of July festivities.

Canton's event will kick off at 6 p.m. with the 4th of July parade winding through the central business district, an initiative sponsored by American Legion Post 45.

The parade lineup will begin at 5:30 p.m. at AutoZone at 64 Waleska Street.

The procession will leave the parking lot at 5 p.m., and make its way along West and East Main streets, loop around to North Street and travel back down to AutoZone.

After the parade, the fireworks extravaganza will take place behind the Riverstone Shopping Center. The fireworks, which kick off at dusk, is presented by Canton Tourism.
