Active Shooter Seminar Scheduled for March 8
The Cherokee Sheriff's Office will host its upcoming CRASE session at Hopewell Baptist Church.

CANTON, GA -- Cherokee County residents are invited to attend another Civilian Response To Active Shooter Events session next week in Canton.

The seminar will be taught by Cherokee Sheriff’s Office Major Joe Perkins and deputy Jeremy Herrin, and is scheduled for 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 8 at Hopewell Baptist Church.
Residents will gain insight on how to prepare and react during an active shooter incident. Children are allowed to attend, but parental guidance is strongly recommended.

Seats are limited and participants will be seated on a first come, first serve basis.
Hopewell Baptist Church is at 78 Ridge Road in Canton.
