Another Active Shooter Seminar Planned For March 29
The Ball Ground Police Department will host the event on Tuesday, March 29.

BALL GROUND, GA -- The public is invited to attend another Civilian Response To Active Shooter Events seminar later this month.

The CRASE class will be hosted by the Ball Ground Police Department and presented by Major Joe Perkins and deputy Jeremy Herrin of the Cherokee Sheriff’s Office.
The seminar is scheduled for 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 29 at Ball Ground United Methodist Church, which is at 3045 Canton Highway.

Residents will gain insight on how to prepare and react during an active shooter incident. Children are allowed, but parental guidance is strongly recommended.
Seats are limited and participants will be seated on a first come, first serve basis, so citizens are asked to please plan accordingly.
