Arts and Culture Celebrated at Cherokee Charter

Students at Cherokee Charter Academy (K-8) celebrated Youth Art and Music Month with a blast of color and cultural inspiration.

CCA students dressed in bright colors to celebrate the theme: Colorful Connections at CCA. Middle school classes put on a visual art exhibit and music classes collaborated with Spanish classes to perform “Color Esperanza” (Color of Hope) by Diego Torres. Music & Choir students sang, drummed, and created their own choreography to the delight of their K-5th grade audience. Middle School Band also played selections to raise funds for their upcoming trip to Southern Star Music Festival.
