Most folks spell love as a four-letter word. I add two more letters, factor in four fur-covered paws and call her Ginger.

Our unbreakable bond outlasted the life of most cars, small appliances, and sadly, an alarming number of today’s marriages. We spent more time together than I’ve ever managed to accomplish with any human being. Call me crazy; I preferred it that way.

Ginger’s trail of footprints still guide me today in the garden of life, though time and nature’s daily stamp of approval wear down the deepness of their tracks.

“Love Never Fails” takes you through an amazing journey of cancer, loss, and life ever after...an enjoyable discovery of unconditional love through the heartwarming eyes and ears of one beloved pet named Ginger.

Author Laine Rowe will discuss her journey with Canton residents at a book launch event at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 7 at Yawn’s Books & More.

After twenty years of marriage to her first husband, Liane Rowe met fellow widow United States Air Force Senior Master Sgt. Dennis Rowe. She is a resilient stay-at-home wife and mother of their blended family of four grown children, one granddaughter and until recently, two senior pound puppies.

Rowe is a breast cancer survivor, five years and counting. She has been a health and nutrition advocate and mentor since 2002, proving that there is life after sugar.

After attending The Art Institute of Pittsburgh many years ago, she now designs her own line of greeting cards to use in her encouragement card ministry.

Love Never Fails will sell for $19.99. The book will be available at Yawn’s Books & More at 198 North Street in Canton or on its website, Yawn’s Publishing, Amazon and Barnes and Noble.

Bookstores, universities, libraries and other small or large volume purchasers can order at Yawn’s Publishing by calling 678-880-1922.
