Ball Ground Historical Society Installs New Officers
The society meet the fourth Tuesday of the month at Ball Ground City Hall.

At its July 28 meeting, the Ball Ground Historical Society installed several officers and members to the board of directors.

Among the new officers welcomed to the society’s ranks Tuesday night include:
- President – Jennie Byers
- Vice President – Nancy Madden
- Treasurer – Sandra Pendley
- Secretary – Beth Ingram
- Corresponding Secretary – Sylvia Bowles
Also selected to serve on the society’s board of directors are Tim Cavender, who will serve as past president. Phil Stead has been elected to the Board of Directors, but was unable to attend the meeting.

He will be installed as a new board member at the August meeting.
The Ball Ground Historical Society was chartered June 26, 2012, to honor, protect and encourage the preservation of the city’s history and heritage.
The society meets the fourth Tuesday of each month in the Council Chambers at Ball Ground City Hall, which is located at 215 Valley Street. Membership dues are $25 for individual and $35 for households.
