Banquet To Honor Preservation Efforts in Cherokee
Cherokee County Historical Society will host its annual Preservation Awards Banquet on March 20 in Canton.

The Cherokee County Historical Society will soon celebrate historic preservation in Cherokee County.
The organization’s annual Preservation Awards Banquet will take place at 7 p.m. Friday, March 20 at the Northside Hospital-Cherokee Conference Center in Canton.

This year’s featured speaker will be Mark McDonald, president and CEO of the Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation.
Four property owners will be honored for their preservation work in Cherokee County, along with distinguished Historical Society volunteers.

Tickets for the banquet and dinner are $25, and there will be a cash bar. Tickets may be purchased online at www.rockbarn.org or by calling 770-345-3288.
