Breathe Better Cherokee Event Raises Awareness Of Lung Health
Breathe Better Cherokee will offer participants a better understanding of the risks, prevention and management of pulmonary disease.
CANTON, GA — Northside Hospital wants to help the public breathe easier at the first-ever Breathe Better Cherokee community education and screening event. The event will take place 3-7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23 at Northside Hospital Cherokee, at 450 Northside Cherokee Blvd. in Canton.
Northside Hospital Cherokee pulmonary experts will offer no-cost lung function testing and blood pressure screenings, as well as a wide array of interactive and educational resources to learn more about lung health, smoking cessation, pulmonary rehabilitation, chronic pulmonary obstructive disease (COPD) and more. Flu vaccines also will be available at no cost to the first 100 who register.
Whether you have chronic cough, trouble breathing, have been exposed to smoking or other irritants, and/or you have a family history of breathing problems, Breathe Better Cherokee will offer participants a better understanding of the risks, prevention and management of pulmonary disease.

There is no cost to attend Breathe Better Cherokee and free parking is available.
