Broccoli and Chicken Pasta

Making pasta a healthy meal is easy nowadays. Using whole wheat pasta adds fiber and it tastes just like regular pasta.
This recipe is a simple dish that can be made in less than 20 minutes. Boiling the broccoli in the pasta water saves time. You can add chicken or not. It tastes good either way. The broccoli is one of the most nutritional vegetables you can eat to fight cancer. It's also a great source of vitamin B and fiber.

1 box whole wheat pasta
1 bag of broccoli florets, fresh

2 chicken breasts, diced
3 cloves of garlic, minced
½ cup olive oil
½ cup white wine
4 tablespoons cream cheese
¼ cup parmesan cheese
Salt
Cooking Instructions
1. Place a large pot of water on stove to boil for pasta. Add salt and pasta when boiling.
2. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet on medium heat.
3. Add diced chicken and garlic.
4. Sauté until chicken is lightly browned.
5. Add broccoli to pasta water.
6. Add wine to chicken and garlic. Cook for about 2 minutes, then add cream cheese. Stir until cheese melts into sauce.
7. Drain pasta and broccoli and add to chicken. Stir well.
8. Add parmesan and more olive oil and serve with garlic bread.
