Looking for a fun and engaging way to keep your kids learning this summer? Join History Cherokee for Wild Discovery Summer Camp, happening June 8- 12, 2026, from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. each day! Campers will explore history through STEAM-based activities that connect to the fascinating exhibits at the Cherokee County History Center.
Each day includes: 📖 A themed talk 🛠️ Hands-on activities 🏛️ Time in the museum galleries 🍽️ Lunch break (campers must bring their own lunch and water bottle)
Today our theme is Transportation. Toys were often homemade, and kids had to create their own games.
