Initial reports indicate a boom truck the men were occupying came "in contact" with high-tension power lines while they were working to fix a sign at the store.

Emergency responders began to treat the patients, identified as 22-year-old Canton resident Dusty Harmon and 27-year-old Matt Key of Ball Ground. Harmon was transported to Piedmont Newnan Hospital where he passed away while Key was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital for treatment.
