Canton Police To Host Another Coffee With A Cop Series

Canton, GA -- The Canton Police Department has scheduled another Coffee with a Cop session for its residents and stakeholders.

The next installment will be held from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 9 at Dunkin’ Donuts.

To date, Canton police say this initiative has been a success “as it enables the agency and citizens to connect, engage and build important trusting relationships that are vital to improving the quality of life for everyone in the community.”

“The Coffee with a Cop program brings our department and the public together in a very relaxed and informal environment,” said Police Chief Mark Mitchell. “In previous events, I have watched as our officers and citizens talk open about issues that we face together in our community in an effort for this agency to provide a better service to our community.”

Dunkin’ Donuts is located at 121 Marietta Highway.
