Canton Police Seek Accused Shoplifters, Woman Who Used Fake Cash

The two separate incidents were reported in late July at Walmart in Canton.

CANTON, GA -- The Canton Police Department is asking the public to help them identify and track down the suspects involved in two separate incidents late last month at Walmart.

The first case, a shoplifting incident, was reported July 27 at the store on Riverstone Parkway. The two suspects, a man and woman, allegedly stole $229 worth of merchandise before fleeing the store, the agency said on its Facebook page.

These two alleged shoplifters stole $229 in merchandise from Walmart, police said.

The subject was captured on surveillance camera leaving the big box retailer in a blue Ford Explorer or Expedition. According to police, the SUV was possibly utilizing a spare tire on its front passenger side.

Police are seeking to identify this person accused of purchasing items with counterfeit currency.
