Canton Reschedules Veterans Day Ceremony
The city has decided to move the event due to the threat of inclement weather.
Canton residents will have to wait another week before they can pay their respects to the service men and women who protect this country.
The Canton Main Street Program and the American Legion Thomas M. Brady Post 45 have decided to postpone its Veterans Day celebration to Saturday, Nov. 14 in downtown Canton.
The city’s event was originally scheduled to take place Saturday, Nov. 7.

Next week’s event will include guest speakers, a flag retirement ceremony, parade and children’s activities.
