CCSD Announces Early Release Schedules For Middle, High Schools
The Cherokee County School District is informing the public about the early release days, as traffic flow could be impacted.

CANTON, GA -- Middle and high schools in the Cherokee County School District will have early release days later this month, which will affect traffic flow in areas surrounding these institutions.
Students at all district high schools have the option of leaving campus early following final exams on varied schedules beginning at 10 a.m. Monday, May 22, through Wednesday, May 24. High school buses will continue to depart on their usual afternoon schedule. Middle and elementary school dismissal is not affected.
On the last day of school -- Thursday, May 25 -- all CCSD high schools and middle schools will dismiss on a half-day schedule, with buses departing early. Elementary school dismissal is not affected.

High school and middle school students and parents already have been advised of this schedule; this schedule is being shared with the community at large, as the district understands it will have an impact on traffic patterns.

- Creekland MS: noon
- Creekview HS: noon
- Dean Rusk MS: 12:30 p.m.
- E.T. Booth MS: 12:30 p.m.
- Etowah HS: 11:45 a.m.
- Freedom MS: 12:30 p.m.
- Mill Creek MS: 12:30 p.m.
- River Ridge HS: 11:45 a.m.
- Sequoyah HS: 11:45 a.m.
- Teasley MS: noon
- Woodstock HS 11:45 a.m.
- Woodstock MS: 12:30 p.m.
