Chart Industries To Open Respiratory Center in Canton

The Respiratory Center of Excellence is part of the company's reorganization plans to focus on the respiratory products industry.

CANTON, GA -- Chart Industries, Inc., a global manufacturer of highly engineered equipment for the industrial gas, energy and biomedical industries, has announced organizational realignment plans within its BioMedical Group to better position the company to capture future growth in the respiratory products industry.

The Group will realign a portion of its manufacturing and engineering operations and establish a Respiratory Center of Excellence in Canton where engineering, manufacturing, sales and marketing will be centralized to jointly develop and deliver industry leading respiratory products.

To realize this change, the company expects to consolidate a majority of its U.S. respiratory operation and engineering activities into the existing Canton campus, relocate key personnel and suspend production and engineering of respiratory products at its Amherst, New York, facility.
