Chart Industries Makes Donation To North Georgia Angel House
Chart Industries employees recently donated over $3,000 to the northwest Cherokee County charity.
On Tuesday, 9/1/15, representatives from Chart Industries in Ball Ground presented a check to the North Georgia Angel House for a donation of $3,250. Employees at Chart held several fundraisers throughout the past few months, and Chart Industries matched their fundraising efforts. The North Georgia Angel House is a room, board and watchful oversight provider that provides short and long term care to females ages 11 to 18, and transitional services to those over 18. The primary function of Angel House is to give girls the skills necessary to reach emancipation and succeed.
Angel House strives to teach the residents money management, conflict resolution, time management, menu planning, family planning, resume writing, employment skills and offers many other workshops to help reach self-sufficiency.
