Clement was charged after human remains were found at his former residence at 555 Farmbrook Trail in Kennesaw, the same home where Massner was last seen on March 28, 2014. While the remains found last week on the property are believed by investigators as belonging to Massner, positive identification is still pending from the Cobb County Medical Examiner's Office, Cobb police told Patch.

Clement's capture comes a week after he promised law enforcement that he would turn himself in. However, Clement went on the run and police spent the last week searching for his whereabouts. The car authorities told the public to be on the lookout for -- a blue Honda Civic -- was found by a news crew in a DeKalb County driveway. The home purportedly belongs to Clement's mother.
Clement, a friend of Massner, has fought for three years allegations that he had something to do with Massner's disappearance. Massner reportedly went to stay at Clement's home in March 2014 after having a marital dispute, but was never seen again.
