Cherokee Chamber to Host One-Day Leadership Conference

The Chamber's 'Leadership Symposium', hosted by Reinhardt University, will be held at the Falany Performing Arts Center in Waleska.

From Cherokee County Chamber: The Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce is hosting a one-day leadership conference on Wednesday, August 30th with tickets available to both Chamber members and the general public. The Chamber’s ‘Leadership Symposium’, hosted by Reinhardt University, will be held at the Falany Performing Arts Center on the university campus in Waleska.

“The Leadership Symposium will feature four speakers who will share thought provoking information to be used both on the job and in life,” remarked Chamber Chairman Bryan Reynolds who serves as the Executive Director of the Cherokee Recreation and Parks Agency. Speakers will include: Chris Clark, President & CEO of the Georgia Chamber of Commerce; Sharron Safford, Author & Trainer; Dr. Mark Roberts, Provost at Reinhardt University; and Randy Gravitt, Author & Leadership Coach.

Event tickets, which are available online at CherokeeChamber.com or by calling the Chamber office at 770-345-0400, are $50 for Chamber Members and $75 for future members and include continental breakfast, lunch, and two networking/snack breaks. The day will begin at 8:45 AM with registration and continental breakfast with the final wrap-up at 3:00 PM followed by an optional campus tour which will offer participants a chance to win passes to come back and enjoy a show at the Falany Performing Arts Center.

"The Chamber is excited to partner with Reinhardt University on this impactful one-day high energy event that will provide opportunities for seasoned leaders to refocus while also allowing emerging leaders to better grasp their leadership potential. Continuous development of Cherokee County’s array of leaders - business, government, civic, cultural, faith based, etc. - is vital as this community works diligently to remain at the top of its game," shared Chamber President & CEO Pam Carnes. The event is also supported by Metz, Reinhardt’s food service team.
