Cherokee Charter Academy's CCRPI Score Exceeds State, District Averages
Now in its fourth year, the Canton-based facility is a public charter school serving students from throughout Cherokee County.

Cherokee Charter Academy has announced its revised 2014 CCRPI score is an 80.3.
The state’s average score was 72. The average score for schools in the Cherokee County School district was 77.2.

CCRPI is a statewide accountability system that stands for College and Career Ready Performance Index. The Georgia Department of Education calls CCRPI, “a comprehensive school improvement, accountability, and communication platform for all educational stakeholders that will promote college and career readiness for all Georgia public school students.”
“As principal of Cherokee Charter Academy, I am pleased with the academic progress of all of our students during the 2013-14 academic school year,“ said Principal Dr. Scott O’Prey. “Our CCRPI score for our elementary school and our middle school show that we are meeting our charter responsibilities. We continue to strive to provide the best academic opportunities for our students.”
