BARTOW COUNTY, GA – Love it or hate it, New Year's Eve is happening again this year. Whether you plan to ring in 2018 at your favorite restaurant, a buzzing party with your friends, or all cozied up in front of the TV, we've got you covered.

  • Atlanta's New Year's Eve Peach Drop will take place at Woodruff Park in downtown. Click here for details about this extremely popular event.
  • The Dallas Martin Band will take the stage at Sixes Tavern in Cartersville for the restaurant's New Year's Eve show. The fun starts at 9:30 p.m. The band is one of the most talented around, and performs a healthy blend of country and classic hits. With our large dance floor your sure to have a good time.   • Step into the New Year in grand style with Atlanta's 14th Annual Downtown Countdown at 200 Peachtree, the event space in the Southern Exchange building at 200 Peachtree St. NW. This elegant, black tie-optional evening will gather the city's crème de la crème crowd in an extravagant fete brimming with entertainment – think aerial performances – and fine party luxuries.   • The Buckhead Ball is returning with headliner Kap Slap and the addition of the Silent Disco room upstairs with three live DJs spinning at the same time.   • Ring in 2018 in style at STK Atlanta - the steakhouse at 1075 Peachtree St. NE is hosting the sexiest party in Midtown, featuring Atlanta's hottest DJs, a three-hour open bar and a complimentary champagne toast at midnight! For tickets and more info, click here.
  • Duluth New Year's Eve Extravaganza: Duluth's New Year's Eve Extravaganza is an annual event where the City of Duluth rings in the new year with residents in a family-friendly atmosphere. The downtown event is free to the public and consists of activities, music, food, and great entertainment, wrapped up with a firework show and the rise of the Duluth icon.
  • New Year's Dance Party "007 Meets 2018" is the theme for this year's dance party at the Hilton Atlanta Northeast in Peachtree Corners. Sponsored by Salsa ATL and Dancing4Fun, In addition to the dancing, there will be a three-course dinner and midnight ball drop with champagne toast.
  • Lanier Islands New Year's Eve Celebration Food, entertainment, fireworks and overnight deals are in the cards if you want to head up to the lake for New Year's. Visitors will check in at the lodge, then be taken by shuttle to a party at Peachtree Pointe overlooking Lake Lanier. Buffet dinner, open bar and music from Party Nation, an eight-piece band, will ring in 2018, along with a fireworks show over Lake Lanier.
  • New Year's Eve Celebration at The Inn Chateau Elan is offering special packages for New Year's. If you stay at the resort, you can get in on a New Year's Eve cocktail reception, six-hour open bar, four-course dinner with wine service, party favors and champagne at midnight and live music. The package also includes a New Year's Day breakfast buffet.
  • New Year's Eve Masquerade Ball Porche' Weddings and Special Events is hosting a masquerade to ring in the new year at JVC Event Hall in Lilburn. In two large ballrooms, DJs will be playing hip-hop and Top 100 hits while you enjoy party favors, appetizers and a five-hour open bar. The event hall is at 4515 Stone Mountain Hwy.
  • Ring in the New Year with Dance Hall Decatur, the DeKalb History Center's holiday extravaganza. It features a professional DJ playing all your favorite dance hits. The party takes place on Sunday, Dec. 31, from 8:30 p.m. to 1 a.m. at the Historic DeKalb Courthouse, at 101 East Court Square in Decatur.   • The 2017 ATL New Year's Eve Party by Exclusive Promo Squad will kick off at 9 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 31, and run until 3 a.m. at the John Koryan Event Hall, 6011 Memorial Drive in Stone Mountain. For tickets and more info, click here.
  • The Bliss Lounge in Stone Mountain will present the ultimate New Year's Eve celebration — Bliss Ball 2017 with Romain Virgo alongside the Unit Band 876. "New Year's Eve Live" With Anderson Cooper And Andy Cohen

Where to catch it: CNN

Why you should watch: For the first time ever, Anderson Cooper will host CNN's annual New Year's Eve Live special with none other than "Watch What Happens Live" host Andy Cohen. As these two are best friends in real life, you can expect tons witty banter and hilarious moments from the pair. The Bravo mogul will replace Cooper's former co-host Kathy Griffin, whom CNN fired after her controversial Donald Trump photoshoot.

"Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve 2018" Hosted by Ryan Seacrest

Where to catch it: ABC

Why you should watch: Remember last year's infamous Mariah Carey mic incident? Yes, it happened on Seacrest's watch. So if that's any indication, this could be a good one to tune-in to. And even if there aren't any crazy celebrity snafus, you can count on crazy views of Time Square packed with people, as well as awesome musical performances.
