Cherokee County Promotes Two New Fire Sergeants
Ethan Garner and Nick Durham were promoted to sergeant last night in a ceremony at the Cherokee County Fire Training Complex.
From Cherokee County: Two Cherokee County firefighters were promoted on Monday night during ceremonies at Cherokee County Fire Training Complex, located south of Holly Springs.
Those who were promoted were Nick Durham, who works at Station 21 near Airport Road and Ethan Garner, who works at Little River Fire Station # 7. Durham came to work for the fire department in 2011, while Garner was hired in 2010.
Numerous firefighters, chiefs and family members attended the event last night. Refreshments were held afterwards in honor of the promotions. Congratulations to the new sergeants.
