“It has been my honor and privilege to serve as Cherokee County’s Solicitor-General. I believe that career prosecution is a calling and that God led me to it those many years ago when I began my career in the DA’s office in Hall County. I have been blessed to work with wonderful people along the way and I thank God for them and the gifts they have brought into my life. I am thankful to God for the many opportunities He has given me throughout my life and I am looking forward to this next chapter.”

Ms. Moss will be supporting the candidacy of Todd Hayes, her Chief Assistant Solicitor-General to take over her job. Mr. Hayes, a career prosecutor, has over 14 years of experience. As the county continues to grow, his experience will be invaluable in managing the increasing caseload that will come with the growth.

An elected prosecutor should seek justice, love mercy and walk humbly. I believe Todd will do just that.
