Cherokee Fire Donates Funds To Goshen Valley Boys Ranch

CANTON, GA -- Cherokee County Fire and Emergency on Wednesday presented a check for $3,810 to the Goshen Valley Boys Ranch.

The agency donated its winnings from the annual Guns and Hoses 5K held last month at Hobgood Park.

The purpose of the Goshen Valley Boys Ranch, located in Salacoa Valley, is to provide hope and a family-model home for boys who do not have either.

The Guns and Hoses race is held each year, and is coordinated by the Cherokee Recreation and Parks Agency.
