Cherokee Fire Employees Honored With Community Service Awards

The ceremony was held last Monday at the Canton Moose Lodge.

The Canton Moose Lodge recently honored several firefighters and staff members with Cherokee County Fire and Emergency Services during its annual Community Service Awards Banquet.

The banquet was held on Monday, and members of the Lodge presented awards to several Cherokee fire employees.

  • Battalion 1 Firefighter Award – Cheri Collett
  • Battalion 2 Firefighter Award – Sgt. Phillip Carlisle
  • Battalion 3 Firefighter Award – Lt. Mike Jones
  • Volunteer Firefighter Award – Mark Cornelius
  • EMS Employee of the Year Award – Nate Sullivan
  • Fire Administration Award – Tamarin Gullett-Tyrrell
  • Fire Prevention Award – Sgt. Babette Davis
  • Special Operations Award Capt. Frankie Martinez
