Cherokee Marshal's Office's Annual Report Wins Excellence Rating
The 2016 Annual Report was recognized by the National Association of County Information Officers.
CANTON, GA -- The Cherokee County Marshal’s Office has been notified that its 2016 Annual Report was awarded the Excellence rating by the National Association of County Information Officers.
The agency is now qualified to be considered for the Best in Class award in the category of Annual Reports. The Cherokee Marshal’s Office Annual Report was selected from hundreds of submissions.
The creator and mastermind of the Annual Report is Jo-Ann Faverey, executive assistant to Chief Marshal Ron Hunton. Faverey has been with the Cherokee Marshal’s Office for 18 years, and prepares its reports each year in addition to her other duties. Faverey is often complemented by other agencies and departments on how professional and attractive the reports are.

“Mrs. Faverey’s efforts exemplifies what the Cherokee Marshal’s Office and its employees strive for every day: excellence in delivering quality service to the citizens of Cherokee County," Chief Hunton said.
