Cherokee Sheriff's Office Looking For Attempted Robbery Suspect

The Cherokee Sheriff’s Office is asking the public to help them track down a man who allegedly tried to rob a business on Sunday in Hickory Flat.

The agency’s Criminal Investigations Division is looking for the suspect in the Sept. 14 attempted armed robbery of Autozone at 6760 Hickory Flat Highway near Canton, according to a press release from the sheriff’s office.

The suspect was described as a white man in his 20’s, has a slender build and was wearing khaki shorts and a dark colored hoodie-type sweatshirt at the time of the incident, the agency said.
