Chick-Fil-A Donates 1,000 $5 Coupons To Area Teachers
They gave the coupons to teachers who participate in this year's United Way campaign.

CANTON-SIXES, GA - From United Way of Greater Atlanta: Chick-fil-A and United Way of Greater Atlanta in Cherokee County have joined forces to care for teachers. United Way of Greater Atlanta President and CEO, Milton J. Little Jr. and Division Facilitator, Communications for Cherokee County Schools, Penny Dempsey recently delivered thanks to Chick-Fil-A Canton Marketplace owner, Kevin Williams. Williams donated over 1000 gift cards worth $5 each that are currently being given to teachers who participate in this year’s United Way campaign.
Williams has been a long-standing supporter of the Cherokee County School System for their participation in the United Way annual fundraising campaign for over a decade. United Way Board Member and Communications Divisions Facilitator for Cherokee County Schools, Penny Dempsey were also on hand to give thanks. Dempsey has served on the United Way Board for 13 years and has been dedicated to United Way’s agenda of child well-being in Cherokee County. Dempsey says, “Chick-Fil-A has always been committed to the schools and we can’t say enough about their efforts to help our teachers.”
United Way of Greater Atlanta in Cherokee County has been in existence since 2005 and serves children, individuals and families through funded programs that help them thrive in their community. The presentation further demonstrates how much United Way values Chick-Fil-A and the Cherokee County School system for their dedication to community.
