Cigarettes, Glass Pipes Stolen From Store: Police
The Cherokee Sheriff's Office is investigating the burglary of Cain's Kwik Shop in Hickory Flat.
HICKORY FLAT, GA -- The Cherokee Sheriff's Office is looking to identify a suspect accused of burglarizing a convenience Sunday morning in Hickory Flat.
The suspect burglarized Cain's Kwik Shop at 3290 Hickory Flat Highway around 5:30 a.m. June 26. According to the agency's be-on-the-lookout alert, the man was able to get inside the store by using a brick to shatter the front glass door.
Once inside, the suspect made off with multiple cartons of cigarettes and two glass smoking pipes. The Cherokee Sheriff's Office notes the suspect was driving a dark, older model step side pickup truck -- possibly a Chevrolet Z71.
