CANTON, GA -- Next week, the Canton Police Department will host another installment of its popular Coffee With A Cop event.
Residents can meet and chat with their neighborhood officers from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 22 at Dunkin' Donuts at 121 Marietta Highway in Canton.
The program, which continues to grow in popularity, allows the agency to connect with citizens as well as build important community relationships. Those connections, the agency notes, are vital to improving the quality of life for Canton citizens.

“These events bring our officers and the public together in a very relaxed and informal environment to talk transparently about issues that we face in our community," said Canton Police Chief Mark Mitchell. "I want to thank our citizens for their support and feedback which greatly assist us in providing better police services to those we serve. Additionally, this time together also humanizes the badge to both adults and children and our hope is our citizens will see that we truly care about them, their quality of life and what goes on in our city.”
