CANTON, GA -- The Canton Police Department will host another session of its popular Coffee with a Cop series.

The upcoming event will be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, March 12 at Chick-fil-A, which is at 2048 Cumming Highway.
To date, Canton police state the events have been a success “as it enables the agency and citizens to connect, engage and build important trusting relationships that are vital to improving the quality of life for everyone in the community.”

“The Coffee with a Cop program brings our department and the public together in a very relaxed and informal environment,” said Police Chief Mark Mitchell. “In previous events, I have watched as our officers and citizens talk open about issues that we face together in our community in an effort for this agency to provide a better service to our community. This time together also shows both adults and children that our officers are not just robots, but that we are humans who truly care about who we serve and what goes on in our city.
