Creekview High Place At National Fair’s Agricultural Competitions

The projects ranged from building chicken coops, to research projects on goat grooming, to being able to identify trees found in Georgia.

CANTON, GA — Creekview High School students placed at the Georgia National Fair’s agricultural competitions.

In total, 33 Future Farmers of America students in the school’s Basic Agricultural Science class created projects, as a part of the class curriculum, in the areas of Agriculture Mechanics, Agriscience Research, Horticulture Mini-booth, Natural Resources Mini-booth, Landscape Design and Forestry Dendrology Notebook.

The projects ranged from building chicken coops to research projects on goat grooming to displaying their ability to identify 35 different tree species found in Georgia.

Students competed against other Future Farmers of America chapters from around the state.
