Deputies Recognized For Service To Community
These deputies with the Cherokee Sheriff's Office were commended for going above and beyond their call of duty.

Seven deputies with the Cherokee Sheriff’s Office were recognized at Tuesday’s County Commission meeting for going above and beyond their everyday service to the community.
Corporal Jordan Strong, Deputy Cody Jones, Deputy Zachary Holloman, Corporal Sean O’Brien and Corporal James Clement all received Life Saving Awards.
Sgt. Laura Antonelli received a Sheriff’s Commendation Award. Lt. Jeanette Vetter received a Community Service Award and Deputy John Lewis received a Canton Moose Lodge award.

Sheriff Roger Garrison presented the deputies the awards to the audience, which included commissioners, county staff and the public.
