Deputy Graduates From National Forensic Academy
Sgt. Garrett Carter has been with the Cherokee Sheriff's Office for 11 years.
CANTON, GA -- Sgt. Garrett Carter with the Cherokee Sheriffās Office recently graduated from the National Forensic Academy.
BasedĀ in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, the intense 10-week course covers subjects ranging from death investigation to latent fingerprint processing.
Sgt. Carter is an 11-year veteran with the sheriff's office, and is currently assigned to the Uniform Patrol Division as well as the agencyās Crime Scene Response Unit.
